Suction systems for the galvanic sector

The galvanic plants allow to metallize objects, suitably prepared for this process (silvering, chroming, gilding, nickel plating, copper plating, galvanizing).

Electroplating takes place through electrolytic deposition. Basically an object of less noble alloy is immersed in a more precious metal liquid and the coating takes place through the electrodes.

The galvanization process occurs in several steps, during which multiple harmful substances are released:

• degreasing process: chemical agents are used to make the object to be covered perfectly clean from dust, oils and impurities;
• marinating process: acids are used which neutralize the water;
• galvanic process: cyanide ions are used, which allow the metal to settle on the object to be coated;
• browning process: the resulting product is first immersed in an alkaline oxidation solution and then lubricated mainly with sodium nitrite.

The suction systems used in this sector allow to neutralize the many harmful substances that are used and / or released during the complex galvanic process, guaranteeing a sanitized and legal workplace.
