In the waste recycling processes, polluting and foul-smelling substances are released into the air. Prolonged inhalation of these substances is highly harmful to health.

Suction systems in this sector are increasingly sophisticated to ensure sanitation of the working environment. The gaseous emissions produced by the waste are captured with different systems, applicable according to the need, which allow to release clean air into the environment: dry systems (cyclones), pneumatic transport systems (bag filters), wet (Venturi tube scrubber or floating bodies).
Unhealthy odors are neutralized by chemical scrubbers or biofilters.
