Die casting is a process used in foundries which involves the use of hot metal (injected at high pressure or cast by gravity) in a metal, steel or cast iron mold, which can be reused.

The die-casting processes create fumes, vapors, gases and fumes that can be harmful especially for the respiratory tract of the operators.

The suction systems used in this area are calibrated based on the metal that is melted and the substances that are consequently emitted into the air.
